I will join a panel of local women from different generations to celebrate Women's History Month. The moderated discussion will focus on women’s well-being and career-related issues. The panelists will share their experiences and insights, providing a valuable opportunity for intergenerational learning. This will be a great chance to hear memorable stories about subtle gender bias from the panelists and audience members and gain insights into the nuances of women's issues.

I will be presenting a talk about my book, Accidental First Lady: On the Front Lines (and Behind the Scenes) of Local Politics at the inaugural Tampa International Book Fair in Ybor City. The First Tampa International Book Fair’s main objective is to bring together members of the community and local, national, and international authors to promote reading among adults and children alike.

Among the activities the five-day fair will feature are book launches, talks by authors, performances, children’s activities, a celebration of International Women’s Day and—of course—publishers selling books.

The St. Pete Beach Library will host the Local Author Showcase. Local writers will showcase their work, connect with interested readers, and network with other area authors. Learn about the writing process, and peruse and purchase their books (just in time for the holidays!). The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring the event and providing refreshments.

I will speak to new neighborhood presidents who will represent St. Petersburg’s Council of Neighborhood Associations.

I’ll join local authors at Oxford Exchange in Tampa for their annual book fair. Copies of my book will be available for purchase and signing.

I’ll be in Sarasota, Fla., for the Local Author Book Fair. I’ll join other authors outside in the breezeway at at Bookstore 1. Books will be available for sale and for signing.

I’ll be the guest author at Worder Than Thou’s “Blah Blah Blah Open Mic, where 10 people will be chosen at random to read original written work for no more than 7 minutes each.

I’ll be at Congregation B’Nai Israel in St. Petersburg, Florida, for Sunday Morning University. A partnership with Temple Beth-El, also in St. Petersburg, this educational outreach seeks to connect the congregations through diverse speakers. I will speak about life as a 22-year political spouse and Accidental First Lady.

I’ll join New York Times best-selling authors and Florida authors Feb. 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Amelia Island Authors’ Expo and Readers’ Extravaganza. The Amelia Island Book Festival benefits young readers in Nassau County, Florida.

Join me at Tory Burch, International Plaza, Tampa, for a morning of shopping and conversation to benefit two amazing nonprofits, WeeMacree and Oasis Opportunities. I’ll be talking about my author journey, and the challenges and learning touchpoints I experienced as a 22-year political spouse. I’ll also be selling and signing copies of my book.

I’ll join St. Petersburg Press authors at Hauntizaar, a Halloween and Day of the Dead Arts Bazaar that brings together the best local dark arts for a spooky shopping experience.
